Our mission is simple. Grow beautiful flowers, and brighten the day!
Fresh cut flower bouquets deliver a sentiment of love, care and appreciation for any occasion. We have a vision of our floral creations brightening your home, business, restaurant, church, funeral home, realtor office, and more. It is a simple, beautiful way to reconnect with loved ones, brighten someone’s day, send regards through times of grief and loss or celebrate a milestone.
Our organic floriculture farming practices use no-till permaculture techniques to build microbe-dense healthy soil, which in turn produces healthy, robust flowers.
Our small flower farm is located in the beautiful Shuswap, in the Interior of British Columbia, Canada.
We intentionally chose a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) subscription model to support progressive agriculture development in our community. In this way, the farmer is directly connected to locals, getting the freshest flowers in return….from our field, to your table.
Our story is inspired by generations of gardeners before us. My granny had the most beautiful perennial gardens where something was always in bloom, depending on the season. Gladiolus, sweet peas, larkspur, lilies, zinnias, dahlias, sunflowers, geraniums, herbs, and produce exploded with an array of color and crunch that were delightful surprises as the seasons unfolded.
My love of gardening came from spending summers at Granny’s on Kalamalka lake. My sister and cousins and I would tiptoe through her garden to pluck crunchy carrots, investigate the compost worms, collect peas and snack on the raspberries growing on the tall canes. This tradition of growing and nurturing the land was carried on by my mom, who turned our entire front yard into a massive garden that fed all of our friends and family. Together, they instilled a love of healthy gardening practices, sustainability and the value of growing good food. I’m grateful for the wisdom that generations before me have passed on.
